If you like museums you should visit the Exploratorium. If you like hiking you should go to Muir Woods. See the very old redwood trees.
The food in San Francisco is also very interesting. This is because many people, from countries have moved to San Francisco and they have brought their food with them. You can eat sum in Chinatown or you can eat fresh seafood at the Ferry Building Marketplace. Silicon Valley and San Francisco have a lot of things to see and do. The city has nice weather all year round, which is perfect for doing things outside. You can go sailing in the bay. Ride a bicycle over the Golden Gate bridge. If you like doing things you can take a trip to the desert in Anza-Borrego or go on a boat, in Mission Bay.

I love the Fifties atmospheres and the cloudless nights in Palm Springs. You can go hiking beneath these boulders. They also have music festivals which're a lot of fun. Palm Springs is a place that has this cool retro architecture. You can take home tours.. Then there is the Aerial Tramway that takes you to Mount San Jacinto.
Joshua tree national park is another place to visit. It has these rock structures and all sorts of desert plants. The rock structures are really good to climb.. At night you can do some stargazing.
The Coachella Valley has all these arts festivals. You can also find date farms there. If you go to Indian Canyons you will see oases and petroglyphs. The luxury resorts in Palm Springs have pools and spas, in the palm groves. They are really beautiful. The desert is really beautiful. It is totally different from the coasts of California.
